📅 Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
This policy is designed to ensure that we can accommodate all our clients efficiently and fairly, and to maintain the scheduling integrity of our specialist treatments, such as Electrolysis and Skin Care.
1. Policy Acceptance
By booking an appointment with Lala’s Electrics, you are agreeing to the terms of this Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.
2. Required Notice for Cancellation or Rescheduling
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time if you need to cancel or reschedule.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Fees
Less than 48 Hours' Notice (Late Cancellation/Reschedule)
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled treatment cost.
This fee compensates for the time reserved and the inability to fill the slot with a client from our waiting list.
No-Show Policy (Failure to Attend)
If you fail to attend a scheduled appointment without any prior notice (No-Show), you will be charged 50% of the scheduled treatment cost.
4. Pre-Payment/Deposit Requirement
To secure your appointment and affirm your commitment, we may require a deposit or a full pre-payment for certain treatments.
If a deposit was paid, the cancellation fee will be deducted from this amount.
If a pre-payment was made, a 50% refund will be issued, or a 50% charge will be processed, depending on the notice given.
Method of Payment
All cancellation or no-show fees (50% of the scheduled treatment cost) will be charged to the credit card or payment method securely held on file for your booking.
If we do not have a payment method on file and you have not paid a deposit an invoice will be issued following the late cancellation or no-show.
Requirement for Future Bookings
The outstanding balance of any cancellation or no-show fee must be settled in full before any future appointments can be booked or held with Lala’s Electrics.
5. Exceptions for Illness and Emergencies
We understand that unexpected illness or emergencies can arise.
Clients experiencing sudden illness, flu-like symptoms, or medical emergencies are encouraged to notify us as soon as possible.
While we reserve the right to apply the 50% fee, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a one-time waiver or reschedule with no fee for verifiable emergency circumstances.
Note: If you are unwell, please reschedule. Attending while sick jeopardizes the health of our staff and other clients.
6. Pre-Paid Treatment Courses
If you have purchased a course of treatments (e.g., a package of 6 Electrolysis sessions):
A late cancellation or no-show will result in one session being deducted from your remaining course sessions in lieu of the monetary fee.
7. Lateness Policy (Consideration for Treatment Time)
We kindly ask that you arrive on time for your appointment.
Depending on the length of your session and booking we may not be able to perform the full treatment and may have to shorten your session in the event of a late arrival.
If your lateness results in your treatment needing to be cancelled entirely, the 50% late cancellation fee will apply, as this slot cannot be filled.
Policy Discretion
Lala’s Electrics reserves the right to exercise its sole discretion regarding the application of this policy. While the terms outlined above are standard, management retains the right to waive or modify the fees or notice requirements in instances deemed truly exceptional, unavoidable, or outside the client's control (e.g., severe weather events, documented medical emergencies). Our goal is fairness, and each situation will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
